“Just wanted to pass the word to the "Ratz" on how much fun we had Friday
night - and Thursday night (Dec. 5th and 6th)! I think it was pretty
obvious that everyone was having a blast and LOVED the music, but wanted to
pass on the bride and groom's personal thanks. We had a WONDERFUL wedding
weekend and will undoubtedly have lots of pictures to remember our two
nights partying with the band!! Thank you so much for being a part of the
celebration.

We will probably make at least yearly trips down to Jekyll from now on, and
will absolutely plan on Thursday night stops at Sea Jay's - can't wait to be
down there again.”

Dear Eddie and Kristen,

 

We hope that you and your family have had a wonderful holiday season and fantastic New Year.  It was such a pleasure to have the WharfRatz play at our wedding reception on December 6, 2003, at Crane Cottage at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel.  Since we heard you play for the first time last year, we have had nothing but confidence and excitement for the great job we knew you would do.  This thought was clearly confirmed by our guests as they danced the night away to the tunes of the WharfRatz!  That weekend had been long anticipated by both of our families, and now it is hard to believe that it has already passed us by!

 

Kristen, thank you for keeping in contact with us throughout last year as we were planning our wedding from Mexico(!).  Thank you to the WharfRatz not only for spending that evening with us, but also for the interest that you put into helping make our day so very special.  Our friends and family were extremely impressed with your ability to keep the crowd engaged.  We hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as we did!

Dear WharfRatz Band,
 
Thank you for your generous donations to St. Francis Xavier Catholic School.  Your financial support is greatly appreciated by both the students and faculty of our school.  It has always been a goal of St. Francis to provide the best education possible to the students of Glynn County.  Through your  contributions St. Francis Xavier has been able to purchase computers, lights, P.E. equipment, art supplies, and daily operation expenses.  Because of your donations, you are helping St. Francis to achieve it's goals of education.  Since St. Francis is a private school we do not receive any money from public funds.  We depend on generous donations like yours to help keep our school up and running.

I wanted to take a moment and thank you for the good job you do in the tennis center, but more importantly as an ambassador for Jekyll.  You are always willing to help, and I see you at GA/FL on Wed. and then at the Fire Dept. Festival on Sat. and many other times when you bring your musical talents to entertain folks on Jekyll.
